Thirumavazhavan.

Stalking someone online ... (constructive stalking ) i came across his blog and realized that i very many years ago had started one wanting to imitate my brother, and had forgotten all about it like i do with many things or to use a bad fiction analogy, like married couple forget what sex is after a few months. reading through the blog, i was embarrassed, i laughed, thought and also came across a few drafts with just a few lines in them, and that's how today i think about thirumavazhavan. Thiruma, the politician, someone i had chosen to write about a long time ago...now a vague memory .. the things i do recall about him was and still is a politician a firebrand ( i thought so, he acted so, some bought it.) someone i wanted to be associated with. I would still like to be, only now, the reasons are different. His politics no longer interest me. selfish reasons and a healthy curiosity to know the destructive power of a bloated up ego are what have objectified him. An object of interest no longer a subject... Still ... i think fondly of the times, when i was an idealist, when cynicism hadn't taken the place of youthful beliefs ... naivety ... of endless dreams ... For you T, i am a poet for five minutes ... and to you it goes ... A living cadaver you are to me.. and like a vulture i feed ... on memories, on what you stood for and for that, and for what you bring to me now ... i fondly will remember you ...
