The Trip

Koyambedu-spent hours deciding on where to go and how to go.... took abt a 100 pics of the total 3000 we finally managed....
Rameswaram- a bumpy bus ride for 13 hrs...., great beaches, snorkelling, riding on top of vans, a bathroom 2 feet wide..., stinking of fish.....1000 odd pics
Ramanathapuram- after a walk in the middle of the night from rameswaram, we finally manage a bus to rmanathapuram, trying top sleep on the platform, onto a bus to madurai
Madurai- go to a restaurant, use the loo, have nothing to eat or drink in the hotel after a wait of abt half n hour, on a bus to kodai
Kodaikannal- slept on the ride up, took up a cottage in the middle of nowhere, lotsa trekking, nammy's cooking experiments, backy, and finally the trek down the hill n forest, meeting villagers, eating in their house, bitter coffee, bison droppings... , pain, crying, desperation, awesome, finally reach kumbakarai in the dark with no lights 500 pics
kumbakkarai-stay in the pwd guest house, eat paatti cooked food, go to the falls...., have fun, backy falls, leave backy behind, feel miserable, drive an auto, take more pics....
periyakulam-take a bus to madurai
madurai- go to the temple, get into trouble with the cops over deepa's shorts, good food
take a lousy long ride bak to madras
Koyambedu- get bak home with swollen feet n limping


no regrets n lotsa fun....
