seminar on area studies

sat through the seminar the whole day.wasnt bad although some speakers were boring.guess the 20 mins time limit helped a lot.Prof suryanarayan was good and his lecture on the evolution of area studies in india was not entirely new to me but the way he went about it peppered with anectodes and stories was very entertaining.i should also talk about manivannan and his presentation of latin american studies.here was a man who lived in the countries and knew what he was talking about.could have jusssst listened to him for hours.hmnnnnn......... my infatuation with geeks continue..... eheheh... me was also majorly oggling at him...and secretly wishing he was single...what i learnt today

felt so intellectually inadequate today...
realized that theres so much more to learn and so little time.
