obama wins and how....

Obama is the next US president. the latest fad among my friends is to ask one another as to why we Indians should get excited over Obama becoming the President or why and how it matters to us

Apart from the fact that the decisions made by the US president affects not only his country but a host of others, it should matter to us because any decision that the US makes in our neighboring countries affects us in many ways...
bomb afghanistan and the terrorists go to pakistan, pressurise pakistan or jus leave them alone and the terrorists move into our country
how much truth is in this i know not, but i do know, lotta politicians here survive here thanks to the terrorist panic...
talking of muslim terrorists, how conviniently everyone fails to talk about our RSS, VHP and BAjrang dal...
how convinient and how easy it is to blame...

Our government mostly favors a republican government in the US..
for example
while clinton issued sanctions on us for our nuclear test, bush goes out of his way to make us sign the nuclear deal
theres widespread fear that Obama might bring about policies that might affect the outsourcing industry. am not an expert but i feel this is something that Obama can undo immediately and that america in a way needs outsourcing....
Obama won i think because of Bush's incompetent leadership, his muddled up policies, stupidity and arrogance. most importantly the ill conceived, ill advised catastrophic war in Iraq and afghanistan. it still surprises me how a nation can endorse this war and still elect him again...
Bush a war monger of the extreme right reminds me of our very own modi. both won their second terms based on the fear and the hatred instilled in the majority gainst the minority...

both have resulted in more bomb blasts, insecurity and more hatred...
bush is gone...obama is here... we are glad obama is here
why?
he's the first african american- does this mean america has changed? that it is actually a melting pot accepting everyone?
we are happy coz we know he's intelligent
we are happy coz we know he participated in antiwar rallies

we hope he'd do somehting different...
bring about the cange he passionately talked abpout and promised...
