vaiko, kanappan, seeman arrested on charges of sedition

its true that in an ideal world nation states do not interfere in the sovereignty of others. but we do not live in an ideal world. we sadly live in a world dominated by power politics. states are at war constantly in a bid for supremacy. although the nature of warfare has changed over the years, war remains a constant.
India is pretty strong in the south Asian region. has interfered in the affairs of the countries around, Pakistan( 1971), Nepal, the Kashmir kingdom, Sri lanka...
It liberated East Pakistan thus bringing Bangladesh into existence, sent IPKF to Sri Lanka and now is deliberating what to do about the current situation in SL.
Now that we take for granted powerful nations interfere , we ask ourselves
is it right?
is it ethical?
now that it happens, should India take an active role in bringing an end to the crisis?
or let the Lankan government do what it thinks is best?
Would it be wrong if it did?
well i know the post isnt exactly in line with the title... but...
do we support vaiko, seeman and people like him?
do we remain passive?
do we turn a blind eye to the ethnic cleansing?
well if we do support the tamils in Sri Lanks who are we supporting?
The muslim tamils?
The early settlers who remain unaffected ?
The plantation workers?
The stateless people?
The LTTE who are fighting for the tamil cause?

to many questions and no answers...

and finally why has the indian state not able to come up with a clear solution or a foreign policy when it comes to SL inspite of the state governments being part of the centre for all these years?
