Gandhi and abolition of War

I cant recall the When, Why and How? but i have never been a great fan of Gandhi. and i always thought the prefix 'mahatma' was unwarranted. Now that i have finally finished reading his autobiography i have begun to dislike the man even further.(may his soul rest in peace).

I have never read an autobiography where in which intimate details have been detailed. I also wonder why most of his correspondence had to be published. He had also been a man of contradictions.

As to the title, been working on a paper with my prof on the title Gandhi and abolition of War and so far if i have to take the literal meaning of it, i haven't been able to come up with anything.
He supported the British against the Boers.(Loyalty to the rulers was his reasoning)
again in the Zulu rebellion, he was with the British. Even though he did not fight the war , he had been instrumental in gathering up the ambulance corps.
For all his talk about Ahimsa and satyagraha, i always wonder why he never came strongly against war. Maybe i am ignorant.
and what on earth he did think he could achieve by coining the name 'harijans'
and why Nehru

My list of grievances against him is endless...
and again i wonder why he should even bother me.
